Lagos-based tennis youngster, Mofifunolwa Atilola has risen significantly on the African U-14 Junior rankings, Nigeria Tennis Live reports.

This is sequel to her exciting performance at the two legs of the recent ITF/CAT U-14 Tennis Championship in Tanzania, where she lost in the semis across both legs.

She had done enough, however, to place herself among some of the best junior tennis players across the African continent.

Atilola, whose ranking prior to the competition was 75th, is now 26th on the rankings, making her the second highest-ranked West African player on the rankings, and Nigeria’s number one.
