The US-based tennis superstar lost only one set en route to winning the tournament as he defeated most of his opponents in two straight sets.

And this win will come as a massive boost to Nigeria as the players prepare to take on a very experienced South African team at the World Group II playoffs on 1 & 2 February, 2025.

Despite playing at the Davis Cup event for only two years, Bulus boasts an enviable record of seven wins in the Singles event, without losing any match in the four Doubles he has played.

His overall record is 11/1 at the Davis Cup and is one of the players South Africans will be wary of when they meet Nigeria at the event in about two weeks.

As at the time of filing this report, it could not be ascertained which players would be representing Nigeria at the Davis Cup event.

However, it is almost guaranteed that no fewer than four players will make it to South Africa for the competition.

Nigeria Tennis Live will keep all our readers updated on the latest developments ahead of the Davis Cup event as they unfold.
