The Tennis Players Parents Association (TPPA) has covered the J30 Lagos entry fees for winners of her national UTR competition, Nigeria Tennis Live has gathered.
The players who are already in Lagos for the first-ever clay court junior ITF event in West Africa, will have their entry fees covered by the TPPA as part of the benefits of winning the annual event in Lagos.
Nigeria Tennis Live reports that the boys and girls U-16 winners and runner-ups as well as Bright Emmanuel and Ayomide Oduwaye, for the youth category have been identified for the funding which amounts to $70 (about N106,000) per player.

He-man Afaramai, Nathaniel Aluko, Gloria Samuel, Nenrot Suwa, Ayomide Oduwaye and Bright Emmanuel are the six players whose entry fees are being sorted by the TPPA.

Recall that the TPPA UTR National Junior finals was held inside the tennis section of the Lagos Country Club, Ikeja, Lagos, in August, 2025, with players converging from every part of the country.

The Nationals was a culmination of the TPPA regionals which was held over two legs across more than 20 States in Nigeria, with more than (1,000) one thousand matches played by the youngsters in the boys and girls U-12, 14, 16 and youth categories.
The TPPA informed that the support fund for the players is part of their plans to encourage youngsters across the country and further promote tennis development across the country.
